    March
    Author- Lenore Hetrick
    Title- March is Here

    When the bare, gray boughs
    Creak and bend,
When the tall trees toss like wild,
    When there is a roaring
    Around the chimney
    That frightens every small child!
When the clouds in the sky
    Rush swiftly past
In shapes that you would fear,
    Then there cannot be
    The slightest doubt.
    March! Wild March is here!

    March
    By: Helen H. Moore

    Forward, March
    And welcome spring,
    When bunnies bounce
    And birds all sing!

    When March winds blow
    The winder away,
    They get the world
    Ready for
    April and May.

  4. Weather for All
    By Lenore Hetrick

    "I like rainy weather,"
    Said the yellow duck.
"Not for me! I want the sun!"
    The hen began to cluck.
    "I think snow is great!"
    Miller nodded her head.
"In spring the weather will please each one!"
    The wise weather man said.

    The Leprechauns are Marching
    by Julie Brinkman

    The leprechauns are marching,
    They’re marching down the hall,
    They’re marching on the ceiling,
    They’re marching on the wall.
    They’re marching two by two,
And now it’s four by four,
You say you still can’t see them?
Move back, here comes some more!

  7. Five Little Leprechauns
    By: Leanne Guenther

Five little leprechauns on St. Patrick’s Day
The first one said, “I’d like to play!”

The second one stood beside a rainbow.
The third one waved and said, “Hello!”

The fourth one said, “Good luck to the bold.”
The fifth one said, “Just don’t touch my gold!”

Plink, plink went the harp – they all danced around,
Then five leprechauns ran off with a bound.

    The March Wind
    By: Anonymous

    I come to work as well as play;
    I'll tell you what I do;
I whistle all the live-long day,
    "Woo-oo-oo-oo! Woo-oo!"
I toss the branches up and down
And shake them to and fro,
I whirl the leaves in flocks of brown,
And send them high and low.
I strew the twigs upon the ground,
    The frozen earth I sweep;
I blow the children round and round
And wake the flowers from sleep.
